The Poacher Candle has returned.

Grounded, smoky, and quietly confident, this candle is built on contrast. Bright bergamot opens with a clean, slightly bitter citrus lift, before settling into deep, earthy vetiver and rich patchouli. The scent feels worn-in rather than loud—dry woods, dark soil, and the faint trace of cologne on a wool coat.

Hand-poured in small batches, The Poacher has a 40 hour burn, throws scent without overpowering, and evolves as the wax warms—moving from fresh and sharp to calm, dark, and grounding.

The hare is central to this candle. Long associated with spring and renewal, it is a symbol of new life, intuition, and quiet luck. Traditionally seen as a sign of good fortune and transformation, the hare appears at moments of change—alert, instinctive, and always moving forward.Housed in a matte black jar with matching top, the design is stripped back and intentional. We make all candles with 100% organic soy wax and the wick is made of natural flat interwoven cotton threads that are lead, zinc free and provide an even burn.

BURNING INSTRUCTIONS

Trim wick to 1/4 inch before lighting.
Keep candle free of foreign materials, including matches and wick trimmings.
Only burn candle on a level, fire-resistant surface.
Do not burn candle more than 4 hours at a time.
Stop use when only 1/4 inch of wax remains.
